TGIF

 

The thing about my new job is... if I want to walk to work, I can.   Yay new work location.  This is the ugly part of the walk, 3/4 of it is not along a 35 mph road.

Para something er up there with the eagles.  The birds (not eagles) got more fish than we did which was not hard since we caught nothing.  

Life

Middle school science homework for my leftie.

In other news, starting next week I have a new job location.  Same job, same pay, same hours per day/week, different location close enough to my house I can walk to work.  

I spent most of my lunch lady sub time purgatory of 2025 at middle schools, but was hired at an elementary school, so I have only four days of high school cafeteria experience.  Those four days were my least favorite of 82 days of subbing but maybe this school will be different. 

Also, I'm leaving behind some awesome co-workers, so the guilt is real.  

Yes, it's weird to be changing schools three weeks before summer break.

Catching Up

 The last month, probably a little out of order.  I will attempt to not ignore le blog, and try to keep up from now on.

Finally found a flea market.  It was Ok but had too many clothes and no furniture to 'flip'.

The tomato plants are in the ground.  There are 9 of them.  I might buy a few more, I still have space.

Office Depot tempting me with nostalgia.  I did not buy the Care Bears binder, or the folder, or the spiral notebook.   If it was Smurfs, all bets would be off.  

If I owned this t-shirt I would have worn it last week!  The nice lunch lady will be back at work today, thank goddess!  

Mother's Day.

Road trip to the weird half of the state.  I swear we came around the corner and wham windmills.

Even more road trip.  So green and hilly this time of year.

More road trip.  Traffic.  It felt like we were in a wagon train heading into town.
